Gilbert Benausse (born 21 January 1932 in Carcassonne — died 24 November 2006 in Carcassonne) was a French rugby league footballer of the 1950s, and '60s. Gilbert Benausse succeeded Puig Aubert as the captain of France, and was one of the main protagonists of the victorious 1955 tour to Australia, and he competed in the 1954 Rugby League World Cup and 1957 Rugby League World Cup.
